**The issue** Residents have raised some specific issues around road safety around the ward. Especially mentioned were issues around Chelmsford Avenue roundabout. Speed and parking locations have been mentioned. \ Probably an ongoing issue. **Status and progress** Local ward Cllrs are aware of issues but the Forum discussed better ways for residents to report road safety issues and how to follow up to ensure some progress on improvements is made (and reported back).\ Information about reporting road safety concerns now added to website. NELC once again have the remit for road safety (previously Equans). Cllrs have reassured that all road safety issues reported to them are reported to Equans/Council. Cllrs will keep reporting back at Forum meetings. **Barriers and obstacles** Making changes to road layouts etc or introducing speed restrictions will be costly and time consuming. **Next steps** Residents will continue to be encouraged to raise their concerns about specific road safety issues direct to NELC and to local ward Cllrs who can look for trends.\ Very little the Forum can do about Road Safety but will continue to discuss at meetings.\ Forum will continue to update here. **Further information** Residents are advised to look at the following information and to report road safety issues direct.
