**The issue** Raised by Police as an ongoing issue - if it’s’ not reported then it didn’t happen. Reporting helps police and agencies. Issue raised by Police that effective, accurate and timely reporting of crime and incidents can help Policing priorities and tackling or preventing crime.  Need residents to understand how and what to report and encourage better/more reporting. This is an issue across all wards but Forum and our partners can assist in this meesage for South ward. Forum connects to NELwatch (Neighbourhood Networking and Neighbourhood Watch project from VANEL) and NELwatch is active in trying to get the ‘report it’ message across to residents across NEL. **Status** There are “Report it” postcards available from venues across South Ward.
