Projects

To improve South Ward there might be all kinds of PROJECTS than can be run. Some might be small like organising a litter picking event. Others might be to hold a large community event; or to redevelop a piece of land for the community; or to set up a new group to bring people together. We’re not talking about commercial projects here (such as building some housing or opening a business). We’re talking about community engaging projects that might support the residents and the community of South ward. Projects will require effort - time and volunteers. And a project might require money - a grant or some funding. And someone will have to run the project and make it happen. But it might be that over the long-term, the South Ward Forum will be able to run its own projects; apply for funding and make things happen itself. Or we might simply report here about local projects and help get them more support and get them off the ground. Use this space to share your ideas about what projects might be needed locally. Offer your services to help. Suggest funding. Or we’ll use the space to report on projects that we know are happening via the Forum.
