Start Something New

In this discussion space we share ideas and discuss ways to get new groups started. As residents you may already be keen or inspired to get together with other people to run a group; host an event; get a project underway. Or discussions here might help fire up that enthusiasm. But we’re also about practical tips - how to do it. Where can you find a venue?\ How can you plan an event?\ Can I close my street?\ How do I promote my new group?\ What do I need to do about insurance/policies etc?\ Where can I find resources? volunteers? funding?\ etc… We’ll keep posting our own suggestions but hopefully other people have ideas and can contribute too.
