Across the world, **little book shelves or libraries** in our communities offer free books to take or swap. They encourage community connections; provide access to different books; encourage reading and discussion and much more. Whether it’s a dedicated book library box, or in a phone box or maybe in a community centre or business, each library encourages connections with each other.
[VANEL](https://www.vanel.org.uk) have been mapping little libraries across North East Lincolnshire (mainly rural areas) and encourage residents to make use of them; help support them and perhaps even start up new ones.
